Old mobile phones contain a large amount of metal elements such as gold, silver, and copper. These metal elements can be converted into gold in chemical reactions. Through certain methods and techniques, gold can be extracted from old mobile phones. Methods for extracting gold from old mobile phones:
(1) Cut the old mobile phone into small pieces and put them into a sealed container.
(2) Add an appropriate amount of dilute hydrochloric acid or dilute sulfuric acid to dissolve the metal elements on the surface of the mobile phone in the acidic solution.
(3) Neutralize the acidic solution containing metal elements to make it neutral or alkaline.
(4) Separate the solid containing gold from the neutral or alkaline solution by precipitation, filtration, etc.
(5) Melt the gold solid and then extract pure gold by electrolysis or other methods.
(1) Cut the used mobile phones into small pieces and put them into a refractory container.
(2) Put the container into a high-temperature furnace and heat it to a high temperature state.
(3) As the temperature rises, the metal elements in the used mobile phones gradually melt to form liquid metal.
(4) The liquid metal is cooled and solidified to turn it into solid gold.
(5) The solid gold is purified to obtain high-purity gold.
